WWE RAW Ratings- 7 September 2020- How McIntyre’s Return Fared?

The return of Drew McIntyre could not save this week’s WWE RAW (7 September 2020) from a huge dip in TV Ratings when compared to the previous week.

The Labor Day edition of RAW drew an average 1.725 million viewers on the USA Network as per the data released from Showbuzz Daily. This is down 9% from last week which garnered 1.896 million average viewers.

The hour wise breakup is as follows:

  • 1st hour – 1.762 million viewers (last week – 2.104 million)
  • 2nd hour – 1.800 million viewers (last week – 1.882 million)
  • 3rd hour – 1.613 million viewers (last week – 1.703 million)

RAW drew a 0.48 rating in the key 18-49 demographic where it came at #5 on the Cable Top 15, a tie with NBA Playoff. In overall viewership, RAW was at #18. This is the lowest rating and viewership for RAW since WWE moved to ThunderDome presentation.

We can also see a significant downturn when we compare it to last year’s Labor Day edition which had an average of 2.507 million viewers and an 0.83 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. The more worrying factor is that Monday Night Football is set to return from next week which might bring RAW’s rating

This week’s WWE RAW featured Drew McIntyre moving against Randy Orton, the Mysterio family taking revenge on Murphy, RETRIBUTION’s promo among other things.
