Karrion Kross Suffers Injury During NXT TakeOver Title Win

Triple H informed during his post show media call after NXT TakeOver: 30 event that Karrion Kross has suffered separeated shoulder injury during the match. Kross defeated Keith Lee in the main event of the show to win NXT Championship.

“I’m going to have to find out. We’ll get him an MRI and everything. Right now, it looks like he separated his shoulder. Somewhere in that match, I knew it was hurt. I knew he was hurt. He wanted to continue. Medical team was watching him and felt like he can continue. They felt like they knew it was a separated shoulder to the degree that it was by looking, so they were comfortable with him continuing.”

Karrion Kross also talked about the same in his interview with ESPN. He said he felt the pain when Keith Lee hit him with a clothesline near the ropes. His shoulder took Lee’s momentum who weighs more than 300 pounds.

Kross further added, “I feel mixed emotions right now. The whole situation is very bittersweet. I think from a natural place, I’m always a very motivated individual. I’m a solution-based thinker, rather than a pity-based thinker.”

Kross is expected to undergo an MRI to get clearer picture. Further course of action, and whether he will need to take time off, will be decided after ther MRI reports.
