Edge Returns to WWE RAW, Announces Royal Rumble Entry

Edge Royal Rumble 2021 entry

WWE Superstar Edge returned to WWE RAW this Monday and announced that he is entering the men’s Royal Rumble match this year.

This was Edge’s first appearance in WWE since Backlash 2020 PPV back in June. He suffered a torn tricep injury during the “Greatest Wrestling Match Ever” against Randy Orton.

The Rated R Superstar appeared before the main event match on RAW and cut a promo. He mentioned how the window is closing for him to main event WrestleMania and become the World Champion once again. So, he would win Royal Rumble and then win the World Championship that he never lost in the first place.

Edge retired from wrestling due to a neck injury back in 2011. He made a return after 9 years at last year’s Royal Rumble event. He later got involved in a feud with Randy Orton and defeated him in the Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania 36. Orton and Edge then face-off once again at Backlash where Edge once again got injured.

WWE Royal Rumble 2021 takes place this Sunday, 31 January 2021.
