Damian Priest made his main roster debut at WWE RAW last night and was involved in a segment with the rapper Bad Bunny.
Damian Priest appeared in the men’s Royal Rumble match where he ended up eliminating Miz and John Morrison. His 15-minute stint in the match also involved him eliminating WWE Legend Kane and Elias.
Priest made his RAW debut on 1 February episode and was first seen with Bad Bunny backstage. Bad Bunny appeared on RAW for the Miz TV segment after his confrontation with Miz and Morrison at Rumble where he hit them with a crossbody dive after their eliminations.
In the MizTV segment, Bunny refused Miz & Morrison’s offer for collaboration for music video. On being asked why he agreed to do the segment, Bunny replied that his friend asked him to do it.
Damian Priest then made his entrance and ended up decking Miz. A match between Priest and Miz followed where Priest got the pin after hitting Miz with the Reckoning(swinging neck breaker). The segment also saw Bad Bunny dropping Morrison with his mic.
Priest also got some praise from WWE Hall of Famer and men’s Royal Rumble winner Edge for his performance, suggesting that WWE wants to push Priest heavily.
Last month, Priest was reportedly slated to debut on SmackDown in a main event segment with Kevin Owens, Jey Uso and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. However, that debut was nixed due to creative changes.
