Breezango Crowned New NXT Tag Team Champions
Breezango, Tyler Breeze and Fandango, are the new NXT Tag Team Champions after beating Imperium on tonight’s NXT episode.
Breezango became the #1 contender for the tag team titles after winning a triple threat match at NXT TakeOver: 30 pre-show. They defeated Undisputed Era(Kyle O’ Rielly and Bobby Fish) and Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch.
This is the first title for both Tyler Breeze and Fandango in NXT. Although both men have held titles in FCW but never on WWE’s main roster brand.
The tag team was formed at SmackDown in 2016 and they worked on the brand until July 2018 together when an injury to Fandango forced the breakup for tag team. The team reunited on NXT after Breezango’s return from injury and he saved Breeze from an attack by the Forgotten Sons.
Imperium won the NXT Tag Team titles Matt Riddle & Timothy Thatcher back in May this year. You can check on the current champions list in WWE here.
