Bad Bunny To Feature at WrestleMania 37?

Bad Bunny to feature WrestleMania 37

Bad Bunny performed his new single “Booker T” at Royal Rumble 2021 with WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. However, his night did not end there. He got involved in a segment during men’s Royal Rumble match, which led to Damian Priest eliminating both Miz and John Morrison from the match.

The Grammy-Winning Musician then appeared once again on RAW this week for an appearance on the Miz TV and once again brought out Damian Priest. This was followed by a singles match where Priest defeated Miz. The match also saw Bunny dropping Morrison with a microphone shot.

Bad Bunny’s appearances brought the mainstream media attention to WWE, which might have been the plan from the start. And it seems like WWE has more appearances in plan for the Puerto Rican musician.

PWInsider is reporting that Bad Bunny was training in the ring on Tuesday. He was reportedly preparing for a proposed WWE PPV in-ring debut that would take place against The Miz and/or John Morrison later this year.

Bad Bunny mentioned during his Miz TV appearance that wrestling for WWE has been one of his life-long dreams. The speculations are that Bunny will face Miz and Morrison at WrestleMania with a tag team partner. However, it is not clear whether his partner will be Damian Priest or Booker T.

On a related note, Triple H took to Twitter on Tuesday and commented on Bunny and Booker T. Hunter pointed out how Booker T looks ready for another in-ring run. Is that an indication for the things to come?

Bad Bunny was the first Latin Urban artist to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone last year and was part of last year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, a performance that remains the largest viewed Super Bowl Halftime Show ever on YouTube.  As such a massive name in the Latin music scene, this has great crossover potential for WWE.
