Aleister Black Responds to Murphy’s WrestleMania 37 Challenge

Aleister Black used his Twitter account and posted a cryptic photo in response to Murphy’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania 37.

On March 28, SmackDown superstar Murphy took to Twitter to issue a challenge to Aleister Black, asking him if he wanted to steal the show at WrestleMania. Murphy’s original Tweet ‘Wonna steal the show’s at #WrestleMania @WWEAleister? 😉’

Aleister Black shared a picture of his in-ring gear and leather jacket. Fans noticed that photo has some message on the gear ‘Denk ann mij teriwijl uw koninkrijk in vlammen op gaal’. It was translated and the meaning comes out ‘ Think of me as your kingdom ablaze.’

Aleister Black has been off from WWE TV since October 2020. Before he has gone for indefinite hiatus, Aleister last wrestled against Kevin Owen in a No Disqualification match on the October 12 episode of Monday Night RAW which he lost.

Earlier, It was reported that Black started his training to make his WWE return after some injuries. But there is no word whether Aleister will return to the company at WrestleMania 37 which is WWE’s biggest event for this year.

Murphy is also not being used by WWE in their regular weekly WWE SmackDown show. Murphy tried to join his former partner Seth Rollins but Seth rejected his offer. Murphy then faced Cesaro in a one-on-one match on SmackDown but he lost that match.

Murphy and Black feuded extensively in the last weeks of 2019 and January 2020 in a series of matches which were all won by black. Murphy then joined Seth Rollins’ stable and had a few more tag team encounters.

WrestleMania 37 will take place on Saturday, April 10, and Sunday, April 11 from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Stay tuned for any updates on Aleister Black and Murphy’s future appearance in WWE.
