3 Matches Announced for AEW Dynamite Next Week
AEW has added two more matches for next week’s show of Dynamite.
It was announced that next week’s AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin will put his title on the line against Joey Janela. Janela appeared on this week’s Dynamite via pre-taped video to hype their match. This will be his first AEW Dynamite match since his loss against Kenny Omega in the AEW World Title Eliminator match on 16 December episode.
In August 2020, Joey Janela went to face Darby Allin in a Triple Threat match at AEW All Out 31 episode where both lost the match to Jimmy Havoc. This will be first time that Allin and Janela will face-off in a singles match in AEW. They have previously worked singles matches in MLW, PWG and other promotions.
A tag team match is also announced for next week’s Dynamite. Cody Rhodes will team up with fellow Nightmare Family member Lee Johnson to take on “Pretty” Peter Avalon and Cezar Bononi.
