Vitor Petrino vs Marcin Prachnio Set for UFC 290 in July

A new light heavyweight bout is scheduled for the UFC 290 PPV event in July. 

According to the latest reports, Marcin Prachnio will lock horns with Vitor Petrino inside the octagon at UFC 290 on July 8, 2023. 

Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting was the first one to report this matchup which was later confirmed by multiple other sources as well. 

Marcin Prachnio is coming off a win against William Knight earlier this year in February. Before that, Philipe Lens broke his two-fight winning streak in April 2022. Prachnio is currently 3-1 in his last four fights. 

On the other hand, Vitor Petrino is still undefeated in MMA. He made his way to UFC via Dana White Contender Series and then defeated Anton Turkalj via unanimous decision in his inaugural UFC match in March 2023. 

UFC 290 will take place at the T-mobile Arena in Nevada, Las Vegas, and the event is expected to be headlined by Alexander Volkanovski vs Yair Rodriguez featherweight title unification bout.
