UFC Vegas 69 Results LIVE, Andrade vs Blanchfield
UFC Vegas 69 event finally went ahead with Jéssica Andrade vs Erin Blanchfield main event bout on February 18, 2023.
The headliner bout was changed twice being settled on this. First, it was Marlon Vera vs Cory Sandhagen which was later moved to UFC San Antonio. Talia Santos vs Erin Blanchfield bout was then moved to the headliner but Santos pulled out just a week before the event and Andrade was brought in as a replacement.
Jéssica Andrade entered the bout just 4 weeks after beating Lauren Murphy at UFC 283. It was her third straight win since losing to Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 261. Erin Blanchfield remained and tried to make it 5 wins in 5 UFC bouts in this bout. Her confidence was sky-high after beating Molly McCann in her previous bout. Did she take another big win here?
In the co-main event, Jordan Wright battled Zac Pauga in a light heavyweight bout. Jamal Pogues got to make his debut on the main card as he faced Josh Parisian. Nazim Sadykhov took on Evan Elder in featured prelims. Themba Gorimbo faced AJ Fletcher in another debut. Ovince Saint Preux and Jim Miller were also on the card.
