UFC Fight Night: Magny vs Prates took place on November 9, 2024, at UFC Apex Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The event is also known as UFC Vegas 100 or UFC on ESPN+ 105.

NOTES

This was the 100th Fight Night event to take place at UFC Apex Arena facility in Las Vegas, NV. Therefore, it is also called UFC Vegas 100.

The event was originally reported to be headlined by a flyweight bout between Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi. However, that bout was moved to headline UFC Edmonton Fight Night a week earlier on November 2, 2024. Carlos Prates was announced to face Randy Brown in a welterweight bout at UFC 309 PPV event. But, Prates was pulled out of that bout and was booked to face Niel Magny to headline this event.

A bantamweight bout between Cody Garbrandt and Miles Jones was earlier booked for UFC Fight Night on October 12, 2024. The bout was later moved to this event for unknown reasons. Just 4 days before the event, Garbrandt pulled out of the bout for unknown reasons.

Melissa Mullins and Montserrat Rendon were announced for a bantamweight bout for this event. But, Rendon withdrew from the fight for unknown reasons. Klaudia Syguła is set to make her UFC debut to replace Rendon. Mullins missed weight at the weigh-in by one pound. The bout proceeded as a catchweight bout at 137 lbs.

Nicolas Dalby and Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos were scheduled for a rematch in a welterweight bout at this event. But Dalby withdrew from the fight for unknown reasons. Zach Scroggin replaced him in this bout to make his UFC debut. At the weigh-in, Scrogging came 3 pounds welterweight weight limit, but the bout proceeded at a catchweight of 174 lbs, with Scrogging paying a fine to dos Santos.

Ricky Turcios and Bernardo Sopaj were scheduled for a bantamweight bout in the co-main event. Both fighters successfully made weight for the bout, but Turcois pulled out of the bout due to other medical reasons.
