UFC 314: Volkanovski vs Lopes PPV event was set to take place on April 12, 2025, at Kaseya Center in Miami, FL. It was headlined by UFC Featherweight Championship bout between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes.

The event streamed on ESPN+ Streaming in United States from 6 PM ET onwards with an early prelims card. The prelims card was set to start at 8 PM ET on ESPN while the main card was a ESPN PPV from 10 PM ET onwards.

NOTES

In early February 2025, UFC announced that they would host UFC 314 PPV at Kaseya Center in Miami, FL, which would be their fourth visit to the city.

On February 19, 2025, UFC revealed that the headliner bout would be for the vacant UFC Featherweight Championship between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes. The reigning champion Ilia Topuria was to vacate the title after his move to the lightweight division.

UFC also announced that Michael Chandler and Paddy Pimblett would clash in a five-round lightweight co-main event.

A welterweight bout between Gilbert Burns and Michael Morales was booked for this show. But, the bout was later moved to UFC 315 with undisclosed reasons.

Similarly, a women’s bantamweight bout between Nora Cornolle and Hailey Cowan was earlier reported to take place at UFC 315. But, it was moved to this event for unknown reasons. Cornolle missed the weight for the bout by 1.5 lbs, coming in at 137.5 lbs. The bout was changed to a catchweight bout with Cornelle paying 20% of her purse as a fine to Cowan.

Geoff Neal and Carlos Prates was scheduled for a welterweight bout at this event. But, the bout was cancelled after suffered an injury.

Alberto Montes was announced to make his UFC debut at the event against Roberto Romero in a featherweight bout. But, Montes withdrew from the fight for unknown reasons. Romero was then moved to UFC Fight Night event two weeks later.
