UFC 313 was a PPV event scheduled to take place on March 8, 2025, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The event was headlined by UFC Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev.

The event started at 6:30 PM ET with an early prelims card which streamed on ESPN Plus Streaming. A prelims card started at 8 PM ET. The main card began at 10 PM ET as a PPV on ESPN+.

UFC announced the main event of the show to be for UFC Light Heavyweight Championship between Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev. This is Pereira’s 4th title defense in the span of 12 months after his successful defenses against Jamahal Hill at UFC 300, Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303 and Khalil Roundtree at UFC 307.

A five round lightweight bout between Justin Gaethje and Dan Hooker was announced as the five-round co-main event. However, Hooker suffered an hand injury and pulled out of the bout. Rafael Fiziev came in his replacement to set up a rematch with Gaethje, but the bout was also turned into a 3-round bout. Gaethje previously defeated Fiziev at UFC 286.

Jhonata Diniz and Vitor Petrino were set to clash in a heavyweight bout. However, Petrino suffered with lateral epicondiyitis, and had to pull out of the bout.

Curtis Blaydes and Rizvan Kuniev was scheduled for UFC Seattle Fight Night event. Later, the bout was moved to this event on the prelims card. The bout was cancelled a few hours before the event as Blaydes suffered with some undisclosed illness.

A bantamweight bout between Chris Gutiérrez and Jean Matsumoto was booked for this card. However, Matsumoto was moved to fight Rob Font at UFC Seattle Fight Night two weeks prior. Gutiérrez was then booked to face John Castaneda. The bout was canceled just a few hours before the event after Castaneda suffered with some illness.

Flyweights Bruno Gustavo da Silva and Joshua Van were scheduled on the card. However, Silva pulled out due with undisclosed reasons. Rei Tsuruya came in as a replacement.
