Oban Elliott UFC Debut Set vs Val Woodburn for UFC 298 PPV
Oban Elliott is set to make his UFC debut against Val Woodburn at UFC 298 PPV event.
Iridium Sports Agency revealed via Twitter that Elliott and Woodburn are set for a welterweight clash set to take place at a UFC event on February 17, 2024. Val Woodburn is under the management of Iridum Sports Agency.

Val Woodburn’s anticipated fight against Marco Tulio at Dana White Contender Series 2023 event was canceled. Woodburn had previously competed once in UFC at UFC 290, where he faced Bo Nickal and was defeated via KO. Val Woodburn’s upcoming fight will mark his transition to a welterweight bout after previously competing in the middleweight division.
Oban Elliott’s upcoming fight will be his UFC debut. He arrives in UFC on the back of a recent five-fight winning streak. His most recent bout took place at Dana White Contender Series 2023 event, where he secured his UFC contract by defeating Kaik Brito. Before the Brito fight, Elliott emerged victorious against James Sheehan.
UFC 298 is set to take place on February 17, 2024, at Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. A bantamweight bout is also set for the event, where Merab Dvalishvili will face Henry Cejudo.
