Nasrat Haqparast Faces Sam Patterson Set for UFC Paris Event
Another French talent will be on the card at UFC Paris as Nasrat Haqparast is reportedly set to battle vs Sam Patterson.
According to the report from Marcel Droff, Haqparast and Patterson are set to clash in a lightweight bout at UFC’s September 2, 2023 event.

Nasrat Haqparast has won three fights and lost two in his five recent bouts. However, the bout against Patterson will be Haqparast’s first one this year. His was scheduled to fight Jamie Mullarkey at the UFC 284 event, but Haqparast withdrew from the fight because of an injury.
Haqparast’s recent win came at UFC Paris last year, where he defeated John Makdessi by unanimous decision. That win ended his two fights losing streak against Bobby Green and Dan Hooker.
Sam Patterson has fought only one match in the UFC so far. He lost his debut match against Yanal Ashmouz at UFC 286 event by KO. This loss marked the end of a remarkable nine-fight winning streak for Patterson. He made his way to UFC with a win over Vinicius Cenci in Dana White Contender Series 2022.
UFC Paris event is scheduled for September 2, 2023, at Accor Arena in Paris, France, featuring several French fighters. Frech Heavyweight Ciryl Gane takes on Serghei Spivac in the headliner. Other French talents on the card includes Manon Fiorat in the co-main event, debutant Yanis Ghemmouri faces Caolan Loughran, Willam Gomes faces Lucas Almieda.
