Miesha Tate vs Mayra Bueno Silva Official for June 3 UFC Event

A new UFC women’s bantamweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night event on June 3. 

According to the latest reports, Miesha Tate will go one-on-one against Mayra Bueno Silva in a women’s bantamweight bout at the Fight Night event later this year on June 3. 

Dama de Ferro MMA was the first one to report this matchup which was later confirmed by multiple other sources as well. 

Miesha Tate has lost her past two matches. She first lost against Ketlen Vieira and then she lost against Lauren Murphy in her most recent match. Her last win came against Marion Reneau back in July 2021. As a result, now she will return to 135 pounds where she won the belt once. 

On the other hand, Mayra Bueno Silva is on a three-fight winning streak. Silva is coming off a second-round submission win against Lina Lansberg in Feb 2023. Before that, she also defeated Stephanie Egger and Wu Yanan. 

Now, it remains to be seen whether Miesha Tate will return to the winning path and snap the winning streak of Mayra Bueno Silva or the latter extends her winning streak to four at the UFC Fight Night event on June 3.
