Marc Diakiese vs Joel Alvarez Added to UFC London on July 22
A new lightweight bout was added to the match card of the UFC London Fight Night event on July 22, 2023.
According to the latest reports, Marc Diakiese will face Joel Alvarez in a lightweight bout at the forthcoming UFC Fight Night event in London.

Marc Diakiese was looking strong in 2022 as he picked up back-to-back wins. He first defeated Viacheslav Borschev and then Damir Hadzoviz in July 2022. However, Michael Johnson broke his momentum and defeated him via unanimous decision in December.
On the other hand, Joel Alvarez’s four-fight winning streak was recently snapped by Arman Tsarukyan. The latter defeated him via second-round TKO last year in February. Alvarez’s last win came against Thiago Moises via first-round TKO in November 2021.
Alvarez will be making his return to the octagon after more than a year at UFC London in July. Both these fighters are coming off a loss, so who will return to the winning path again?
