Magomed Ankalev Stopped Anthony Smith in Round 2 at UFC 277
Magomed Ankalev defeated Anthony Smith via a second-round TKO at UFC 277 PPV event.
The match started off a bit slow as both the fighters were trying to get to each other. Soon, Ankalev managed to hit some good kicks.
Smith landed some kicks as well. Soon, Ankalev shocked Smith with a head kick, but it didn’t connect perfectly. It tripped Smith and Ankalev kicked his legs till the round ended.
In the second round, Smith tried to corner Ankalev and even locked the latter into a body lock. Halfway into the second round. Smith lost the grip and then Ankalev managed to hit some nasty shots.
Smith didn’t recover from the flurry of these punches and the referee waved off the fight. Smith even seemed to be complaining about his ankle, hinting that he is injured.
However, the bottom line is that Anthony Smith lost the match, and that too via TKO at 3:09 in the second round at UFC 277.
