KSW 78 Results LIVE, Materla-Grove 2, Romanowski-Paczuski
KSW presented their first card of 2023 in KSW 78: Materla vs Grove 2 event on January 21, 2023, from Netto Arena in Szczecin, Poland.
The second encounter between Michał Materla and Kendall Grove headlined the event in a 195 lbs catchweight bout. Materla defeated Grove in their previous bout in 2013 via a unanimous decision.
Michał Materla came into this bout with a win and a loss in 2022. He defeated Jason Radcliffe at KSW 66 before felling to Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 70. Grove, a 13 times UFC competitor, was returning to MMA after 3 years. He was last seen BKFC in September 2020 where he lost to Hector Lombard.
Tomasz Romanowski and Radosław Paczuski clashed in the middleweight co-main event. Romanowski came into the bout with three wins in 2022 while Paczuski remained undefeated with 2 more wins last year.
