Joshua Weems Replaced Armfield Against Rodriguez at UFC Vegas 63
Joshua Weems has officially signed with the UFC and now he will replace Garrett Armfield against Christian Rodriguez at UFC Vegas 63.
Marcel Dorff of Eurosports confirmed that Weems would have his first UFC match this weekend against Rodriguez.
It will be Weems’ first match in the UFC. He had his last match against Mo Miller at Fury FC 65. Fernando Garcia was the last one to defeat Weems at the Dana White Contender Series.
On the other hand, Christian Rodriguez made his UFC debut earlier this year in February. However, he failed to make an impact as he lost against Jonathan Pearce via unanimous decision.
Now, Rodrigues will try to rebound from this loss this Saturday when he faces Weems whereas the latter will try to kickstart his UFC journey with a win at UFC Vegas 63.
