Joel Alvarez vs Zubaira Tukhugov Set for UFC 284 in Perth
A lightweight bout has been added to the second UFC PPV event of 2023.
According to the latest reports, Joel Alvarez will collide against Zubaira Tukhugov at the RAC Arena in Perth on February 12, 2023, at UFC 284.
Eurosports was the first one to report this news which was later confirmed by several other sources as well. However, UFC is yet to make an official announcement for this bout.
Joel Alvarez’s four-fight winning streak was snapped by Arman Tsarukyan earlier this year in February. Before that, he defeated the likes of Thiago Moises, Alexander Yakovlev, Joseph Duffy, and Belluardo before losing his UFC debut against Damir Ismagulov.
On the other hand, Zubaira Tukhogov is coming off a unanimous decision win against Ricardo Ramos at UFC 267. Now, Tukhugov will return to the octagon after more than a year.
