Jamie Mullarkey vs John Makdessi Official for UFC 293 PPV
Australia’s Jamie Mullarkey will face John Makdessi at UFC 293 PPV event.
UFC officially announced via their Australia-New Zealand Twitter Account that Mullarkey and Makdessi are set to clash in a lightweight bout on September 9 in Sydney.

Jamie Mullarkey has won three fights and lost two in his five recent bouts. Mullarkey was set to face Guram Kutateladze at UFC Fight Night event on June 3, but Kutateladze withdrew from the fight. Muhammad Naimov came in as replacement and beat Mullarkey via second-round KO.
Mullarkey was also part of UFC 284 in Australia earlier this year where he beat Francisco Prado via unanimous decision.
John Makdessi has also won three fights and lost two in his five recent bouts. Makdessi’s recent bout was against Nasrat Haqparast at UFC Paris 2022, where he lost by unanimous decision. Makdessi’s overall UFC record stands at 11-8-0.
UFC 293 event is scheduled for September 9 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The event will feature a flyweight bout between Kai Kara-France and Manel Kape.
