Jack Hermannson out of UFC Vegas 74, Maxim Grishin vs Philipe Lins Added

Jack Hermansson

Jack Hermannson has pulled out of UFC Vegas 74 main event bout due to an injury.

Hermannson was supposed to headline UFC Vegas 74 on June 3, 2023, against Brandon Allen in a middleweight bout. However, MMA Mania’s Alex Behunin has now reported that Hermannson has suffered an undisclosed injury now, and is out of the event.

It is currently unknown if Allen will be kept on card as a headliner or on the undercard. He is currently on a 4-fights winning streak with a submission win over Andre Muniz at UFC Vegas 70 in his latest outing.

While one fight is removed from the card, another one is added to it. As per Behunin, a light heavyweight pairing of Maxim Grishin and Philipe Lins is added to Vegas 74 card.

Grishin and Lins weighed in at UFC Vegas 61, but the bout was canceled due to undisclosed medical issue. Grishin’s booking against Jailton Almeida is also canceled twice in the last year due to injuries on either side of this bout against Lins. He was last seen at UFC 271 where he defeated William Knight via unanimous decision.

Lins also had to withdraw from a bout against Ovince Saint Preux in December at UFC 282, but the bout later took place at UFC Vegas 70 where Lins was able to knockout Saint Preux in the first round.
