Gregory Rodrigues vs Denis Tiuliulin UFC 292

The middleweight bout between Gregory Rodrigues and Denis Tiuliulin has a new event in the form of UFC 292 PPV.

Rodrigues and Tiuliulin were booked to fight on UFC Nashville card on June 24, 2023. Rodriguez posted on his Instagram on Wednesday that his bout is rescheduled to UFC 292 PPV now. Rodrigues was not aware of the exact reason behind this but said that his opponent Tiuliulin pulled out of Nashville Fight Night and UFC then rebooked it UFC 292 PPV.

UFC 292 PPV is set to take place on August 19, 2023, at TD Garde Arena in Boston, MA. The event will be headlined by a bantamweight title fight between Aljamain Sterling and Sean O’Malley. Former Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman will return to the octagon after 2 years at the event to face Brad Tavares.

Gregory Rodriguez, former LFA Middleweight Champion, suffered second loss in his UFC career when he faced Bruno Ferriera at UFC 283 PPV in Brazil. His overall UFC record stands at 4-2.

Rodriguez’s previous loss came against Armen Petrosyan. He defeated Duško Todorović and Jun Yong Park before losing to Petrosyan and then defeated Julian Marquez and Chidi Njokuani after that bout.

Denis Tiuliulin started his UFC career with a loss to Aliaskhab Khizriev in March 2022. He picked up his first win as he beat Jamie Pickett at UFC 279. His last bout in February 2023 results in a submission loss to Jun Yong Park.
