Junior Dos Santos vs Yorgan Decastro Set to Headline Eagle FC 48
Junior Dos Santos vs Yorgan Decastro Heavyweight bout is all set to headline Eagle FC 48 event which is set to take place on May 20, 2022.
Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos recently signed with Eagle FC and is set to make his debut against former UFC veteran Yorgan Decastro. Khabib Nurmagomedov himself announced this news while speaking with ESPN.
Both these former UFC fighters will fight for the #1 Heavyweight contender spot when they meet inside the octagon at Eagle FC 48 event.
Junior Dos Santos had his last match at UFC 256 back in December 2020 where he lost against Cirly Gane via TKO. He is on a four-fight losing streak and must be looking forward to getting back on the winning path again.
On the other hand, Yorgan Decastro is on a two-fight winning streak and is coming off a submission victory against Shaun Asher at Eagle FC 44.
After parting ways with UFC, Junior Dos Santos made several appearances in AEW and competed in some matches as well. But, now he decided to return to MMA again and is now set to step inside the octagon on May 20 after two and a half years.
