Iridium Sports Agency announced through Twitter that Grant and Gibson are set for a bantamweight showdown scheduled to occur at a UFC event on March 23, 2024. Davey Grant is under the management of Iridium Sports Agency.

Davey Grant’s recent fight was at UFC London event, where he was defeated by Daniel Marcos by a split decision. This loss put an end to Grant’s two-fight winning streak. Before the Marcos fight, Grant defeated Raphael Assunção via KO, which was also recognized as the performance of the night.
Cody Gibson’s recent fight was at UFC 292 event, where he was defeated by Brad Katona by unanimous decision. Before Katona’s fight, Gibson fought in exhibition MMA at the Ultimate Fighter 31 event, where he defeated Rico DiSciullo by submission. As of now, Gibson’s UFC record stands at 1 win and 4 losses.
UFC Vegas 88 event is set to take place on March 23, 2024, broadcasting live from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. A featherweight bout is also set for the event, where Ricardo Ramos will face Julian Erosa.
