Cowan Out, Jacqueline Cavalcanti Debut Set vs Zarah Fairn at UFC Paris
Jacqueline Cavalcanti is set to make her UFC debut against Zarah Fairn at UFC Paris event.
Hailey Cowan was earlier reported to fight Zarah Fairn at UFC Paris in a women’s bantamweight bout. However, Cowan was later reported to be injured and pulled out of the fight.
As a result of Cowanwill’s withdrawal from the fight, UFC announced on its official site that Jacqueline Cavalcanti will replace Cowan to face Fairn in the bantamweight bout at UFC Paris.

Jacqueline Cavalcanti is currently on a three-fight winning streak heading into her UFC debut. Cavalcanti’s recent fight was against Melissa Croden at LFA 157 event where she won by unanimous decision.
Zarah Fairn is currently experiencing a three-fight losing streak. Her most recent defeat occurred at the UFC 283 event against Josiane Nunes, where she was defeated via unanimous decision.
UFC Paris event is scheduled for September 2, 2023, at Accor Arena in Paris, France, featuring a heavyweight bout between Ciryl Gane and Serghei Spivac.
