A bout between Chris Curtis and Marc-Andre Barriaultis reported for UFC 297 PPV event.

According to the report from Alex Behunin of MMA Mania, Curtis and Barriaultis are set to clash in a middleweight division bout at the UFC first PPV event in 2024.

Chris Curtis had a recent matchup scheduled against Anthony Hernandez at the UFC on ESPN+ 85 event, but the bout was canceled due to an injury to Curtis. Prior to this cancellation, Curtis and Hernandez clashed at UFC 289 event, which resulted in a no-contest.

Curtis fought his recent fight at UFC 287 event, where he suffered a defeat against Kelvin Gastelum by unanimous decision. His current UFC record stands at 4 wins, 2 losses, and 1 no-contest.

Marc-Andre Barriault’s recent fight was scheduled against Michel Pereira at the UFC Vegas 81 event, but the bout was canceled after Barriault’s withdrawal. Barriault is presently on a two-fight winning streak. His most recent match occurred at UFC 289 event, where he secured a victory over Eryk Anders by unanimous decision.

UFC 297 PPV event is set to take place on January 20, 2023, and it will be broadcast live from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A bantamweight bout is also set for the event, where Serhiy Sidey will face Ramon Taveras.
