Brendson Ribeiro and Zhang Mingyang are scheduled to make their UFC debuts facing off against each other at the upcoming UFC 298 PPV event.

According to the report from Leo Guimarares, Ribeiro and Mingyang are set to clash in a light heavyweight bout at UFC’s February 17, 2024, event.

Brendson Ribeiro and Zhang Mingyang were originally slated to compete against each other at the UFC Shanghai event, but the bout had to be canceled due to travel complications arising from a venue change.

Zhang Mingyang is riding on a nine-fight winning streak, securing his latest victory at the Road to UFC event against George Tokkos. Additionally, he is booked for a kickboxing match at WLF 1000th Broadcast Celebration event, set to face Xiangming Jia.

Brendson Ribeiro boasts a three-fight winning streak, with his most recent victory occurring at the Dana White Contender Series 2023, where he secured a knockout win against Bruno Lopes. Ribeiro’s professional MMA record stands at 15 wins, 5 losses, and no draws.

UFC 298 is set for February 17, 2024, and the specific venue has yet to be disclosed. A welterweight bout is also set for the event, where Marcos Rogério de Lima will face Justin Tafa.
