Anthony Hernandez vs Chris Curtis set for September 16 UFC Event
A new middleweight bout is reported to UFC Fight Night on September 16, 2023, as Anthony Hernandez will face Chris Curtis.
The report comes from MMA Fighting, who mentioned that the bout is being planned for September 16 event which is expected to take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
Anthony Hernandez has won four fights consecutively and remains unbeaten since the start of 2021. These four wins came against Edmen Shahbazyan, Marc-André Barriault, Josh Fremd, and Rodolfo Vieira. His recent bout was against Edmen Shahbazyan at UFC Vegas 73 on May 20 via knockout.

Chris Curtis has won two and lost two bouts in his five recent matches before his most recent bout was declared a no-contest because of an accidental clash of heads with Nassourdine Imavov at UFC 289. He two losses have come against Kelvin Gastelum and Jack Hermansson, while the wins have come against Rodolfo Vieira and Joaquin Buckley.
September 16 Fight Night event has just one more bout reported in Lupita Godinez vs Sam Hughes.
