Adrian Yanez vs Vinicius Salvador Announced for UFC May 18 Event
Adrian Yanez is set to face Vinicius Salvador at UFC Fight Night event on May 18, 2024.
Yanez’s management team Iridium Sports Agency announced the bantamweight bout on social media. The event is expected to take place at UFC Apex Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Tim Elliot is set to face Tatsuro Taira at the event.
Yanez was on a nine-fight winning streak before he lost two fights in a row. He suffered a knockout at UFC 287 against Rob Font and another against Jonathan Martinez at UFC Vegas 81 event.
Vinicius Salvador is also on a 2-fight losing streak. 2022 Contender Series Graduate, Salvador lost in his UFC debut against Victor Altamirano via unanimous decision at UFC San Antonio event in March 2023. He then came overweight at UFC 291 before losing to CJ Vergara via unanimous decision once again.
