World Boxing Council (WBC) officially confirmed that the winner of the upcoming Saturday bout between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder will defend the WBC heavyweight title against the winner of the interim title bout between Otto Wallin and Dillian Whyte that will take place on October 30.

If this happens, Dillain Whyte will have an opportunity to secure a title shot for him after ten long years. However, to seize this opportunity, first, he has to go through an opponent like Otto Wallin.

Tyson Fury is certain that he will beat Deontay Wilder again just like in their previous match. Whereas Wilder is training harder than ever and also stated that he will beat Fury before knocking him down.

However, it seems like Tyson Fury is not happy at all about the thought of facing Dillian White. Fury stated that he hasn’t been told about this and he is also not interested in it right now. He stated that his current focus is on the fight against Deontay Wilder, and then he’ll see and make a decision on who he will face next.

This statement came after WBC made it mandatory for Fury or Wilder to face the winner of Whyte vs Wallin.
