Former IBF/WBA/WBO champion, Anthony Joshua recently stated that he would like to fight the winner of Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder next and Fury just couldn’t believe him.

Tyson Fury noted that it is quite surprising that Joshua is still willing to fight him even if he is not holding any world titles. This statement of Joshua contradicted his previous statement where he stated that his only focus is on winning the world titles and wanting to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

But now suddenly Anthony Joshua changed his mind after losing all three of his belts to Oleksandr Usyk earlier this year in September. Fury stated that Joshua was all about the belts before but now he is the one who doesn’t have any titles on him.

Fury agreed that if he wins against Deontay Wilder this Saturday then he would fight Joshua. Now, it will put Anthony Joshua in quite a tricky situation as he already activated his rematch clause with the IBF/WBO/WBF Champion Oleksandr Usyk. Now, their rematch will likely take place in early 2022 where Joshua will try to regain their lost pride.

So, it is quite certain that Anthony Joshua wouldn’t walk away from this match to fight Tyson Fury. But now, it will be interesting to see how this situation will unfold after Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder this Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
