Pacquiao’s advisor Sean Gibbons tweeted that “Senator ready to rumble! Waiting on Eddie Hearn.” He also teased that Manny Pacquiao would face Conor Benn in his return match, and the latter welcomed this idea with open arms.

Manny Pacquiao had his last match in August 2021 against Yordenis Ugas which he lost via unanimous decision. The following he announced his retirement from professional boxing.

On the other hand, Conor Benn is still undefeated and is coming off a second-round TKO win against Chris van Heerden. However, Conor Benn had faced several issues in the past few months including failing a drug test.

The failed drug test canceled his planned catchweight bout against Chris Eubank Jr. WBC recently cleared the fighter for his wrongdoings.

Conor Benn will soon return inside the squared circle and Manny Pacquiao is interested to be his opponent. Now, it remains to be seen whether the promoters actually book this match or not.
