Gervonta Davis vs Roland Romero Confirmed for December Showtime PPV
Gervonta Davis is all set to make his long-awaited return inside the ring. He officially confirmed that he would square off against Roland Romero on December 5 at Showtime PPV.
Gervonta Davis took to his official Twitter handle to confirm this news. Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions also provided a statement to ESPN where he stated that both Davis and Romero despise each other. He thinks it is a terrific match-up and will give a feel of modern-day Hagler-Hearns fight. Ellerbe also believes that this bout will end in a knockout.
Gervonta Davis is undefeated as a pro and holds an impressive record of 25-0. He won the WBA lightweight championship from Mario Barrios back in June.
On the other hand, Roland Romero is also undefeated and has won all 14 of his fights. Now, this WBA lightweight title bout might deliver their very first loss to either Davis or Romero.
Now, the fans are very excited to see who will remain undefeated after their December 5 match on Showtime PPV.
