Danny Garcia and Jose Benavidez Jr. are moving up to Super Welterweights on July 30, 2022, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Both former Welterweight World Champions are moving up a division with this bout as they look to resurrect their careers. Both men have lost their titles to current champions Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford in their previous bouts. Benavidez has fought once since then, but Garcia is returning to the ring for the first time since his last loss.
Adam Kownacki is also looking to bounce back from two back-to-back losses to Robert Helenius in the co-main event. He will be facing Ali Eren Demirezen. Gary Antuanne Russell vs Rances Barthelemy Super Lightweight bout will open the card.
