Donaire vs Santiago Set for Spence-Crawford Undercard
Nonito Donaire vs Alexandro Santiago is postponed to two weeks later at set to battle for Errol Spence Jr vs Terrence Crawford undercard.
Donaire and Santiago were originally scheduled to face each other to headline an event on Showtime on July 15. But now, they will collide two weeks later on July 29, 2023, on the main card of super fight PPV.
Donaire vs Santiago will be the second bout of this PPV event. The move came in light of one of the bouts getting canceled from the PPV main card. Gurgen Hovhannisyan vs. Viktor Faust was nixed due to the latter’s back injury.

Nonito Donaire is coming off a second-round TKO loss against Naoya Inoue. Before that, he defeated Reymart Gaballo and Nordine Oubaali. On the other hand, Alexandro Santiago is coming off a win against Antonio Nieves. Before that, he lost against David Carmona.
Now, it will be interesting to see whether Nonito Donaire will be able to win the WBC Bantamweight Title at the age of 40 or not.
Another bout that was changed on the Spence-Crawford undercard was Yoenis Telles coming in to replace Jesus Ramos Jr. who injured his hand. The main card is set to start from 8 PM ET onwards.
