Michael Conlan returns to action to face Michael Marriaga on a Top Rank card in Belfast on August 6, 2022.
Conlan suffered a heartbreaking knockout defeat against Leigh Wood in March this year when he was leading on the judges scorecard going into the final round. It was also his first defeat in pro-boxing career. He looks to bounce back from that defeat as he headlines the card in Northern Ireland. Michael Marriaga is also coming off a one-sided loss to Eduardo Ramirez in December last year.
The card will air on ESPN+ streaming in the United States. Fite TV will air the event in other countries including UK and Ireland. The action will start from 2 PM EST onwards.
