Caleb Plant Confirmed to Face Anthony Dirrell Next
Caleb Plant has officially confirmed that he has signed to face Anthony Dirrell upon his return inside the boxing ring.
Recently, Jose Benavidez Sr announced that he was working on closing a deal to fight Caleb Plant. However, then he claimed that Caleb Plant had refused to fight him.
After that Jake Denovan reported on Twitter that the fight between Caleb Plant and Jose Benavidez Sr never evolved beyond casual discussion. He also reported that Benavidez will face David Lemieux next whereas Caleb Plant is set to collide against Anthony Dirrell.
Caleb Plant posted a tweet confirming this report. He revealed that Benavidez has signed a fight even before him, and then he signed to face Anthony Dirrell.
Caleb Plant is a former IBF Super Middleweight champion. He recently lost the title in the very first loss of his career against Canelo Alvarez last year in November.
Currently, it hasn’t been revealed when Plant will return to the boxing ring, but it is certain that he would put on his boxing gloves to face Anthony Dirrell next.
