Edge Accepts Orton’s Challenge for WWE Backlash Match

Edge vs Randy Orton Backlash 2020

WWE Hall of Famer Edge has accepted the challenge from Randy Orton for a match at WWE Backlash 2020 PPV.

Last week, Randy Orton pointed out how Edge chose to return at Royal Rumble to save himself from looking bad and then he chose the Last Man Standing match for their WrestleMania showdown. Orton then went on to challenge him for a normal wrestling match at Backlash.

This week at RAW, Orton, when asked by the interviewer Charly Caruso, said that he was surprised at people not understanding his choice of a normal wrestling match. Edge came out to interrupt him. He said this is all a game for Orton and he does not want to rush his move. Although, he ended up agreeing to the challenge after a shouting match between the pair.

WWE also confirmed that Edge and Randy Orton will face-off at WWE Backlash 2020 PPV on 14 June. Earlier, Edge defeated Orton at WrestleMania 36 in the Last Man Standing match after a feud that started the night after Royal Rumble.
