Drew McIntyre vs Baron Corbin
WWE is once again trying to use its superstars on multiple shows with their new crossover rule and selling it as Brand Invitation. The first appearance on RAW under this brand invitation is going to be Baron Corbin and he will face WWE Champion Drew McIntyre in a non-title match. From the outset, it looks like a routine win for McIntyre but it will be interesting to see how their chemistry be since we have earlier seen them tagging as heels many times.
Nikki Cross & Alexa Bliss(c) vs The IIconics – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
The IIconics made a triumphant return to RAW last week by beating Women’s Tag Team Championship. Pinning the champ meant that The IIconics were due a title shot as per WWE rules. Hence, this title match. It is expected that Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross will win this match. However, last time also when The IIconics won the title, it was certainly not expected at all.
Who Will Be The First Challenger for Asuka?
Asuka is the new RAW Women’s Champion which now opens lots of new title matches. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax have been clamouring for the title shot but the likes of Liv Morgan and Natalya also might now want to stay behind. Who will get the first shot at Asuka?
Will Edge Accept Randy Orton’s Backlash Challenge?
After their Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania, Randy Orton challenged Edge for a normal wrestling match at Backlash. At the time, Edge seemed shocked by Orton’s allegations that he has been using gimmick matches to cover up his poor wrestling abilities after his return. That shock would have worn off in one week and Edge should be ready by now to answer that challenge.
Axe Throwing Contest Between Street Profits & Viking Raiders
WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits and their most credible challengers, The Viking Raiders, are on a quest to go one up against each other. And they are engaged in the competition outside the ring. Last week, it was a basketball match where the Vikings actually hid how good they are at the game. This week, it is going to be Axe-Throwing competition.
