Otis & Carmella Qualify for MITB Ladder Match 2020

Otis and Carmella have won their respective Money in the Bank Ladder qualifying matches on SmackDown this week.

Carmella faced Mandy Rose in the women’s division qualifier match. After initial back and forth, Mandy Rose looked in control of the match. That was until Sonya Deville came out and kept distracting her. Sonya’s effort finally worked as Rose was hit by Carmella’s finisher and lost the match.

Post match, Sonya attacked Rose in the ring. The attack has left Rose with some injuries that she posted later on social media.

The women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match line-up is now complete with Carmella’s win. Earlier, Lacey Evans and Dana Brooke qualified for the match from SmackDown. Nia Jax, Asuka and Shayna Baszler will take part from the RAW roster.

Otis faced Dolph Ziggler in the other part of this storyline. The MITB qualifier match was the main event for SmackDown last night. Otis took early advantage using her power but Ziggler made his way back into the match after some work at the ringside. But Otis triumphed finally after he countered a superkick and hit the caterpillar elbow drop.

After this, 5 out of 6 participants for the match are now confirmed. Daniel Bryan and Baron Corbin are the other two participants from SmackDown while Aleister Black and Rey Mysterio will be RAW side participants. The last RAW participants will be identified with the Last Chance Gauntlet match on the next RAW episode.
