The New Champion!!
WWE RAW opens with a highlight from Drew McIntyre winning WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36. McIntyre heads to the ring and thanks the fans. He is surprised that the internet has been very positive. McIntyre then takes us to the replay of him defending his championship against Big Show just 20 minutes after that. This shows what kind of Champion he is going to be- “You want an opportunity at the title, you get an opportunity at the title.”
Andrade’s music hits as he comes out with Zelina Vega. Vega tells McIntyre that Andrade is the real champion of RAW and how he lost his title match at WrestleMania due to an injury. McIntyre reminds us of their match for NXT Championship from 2 years back. He tells Andrade that he took away 6 months of his career as he suffered a torn bicep. This leads to a champion vs champion match.
Asuka vs Ruby Riott – Money In The Bank Qualifying Match
Ruby Riott offers a handshake to start but Asuka decks her instead. They keep going back and forth for some time until Asuka takes her down and puts her in an armlock. She keeps stomping on her back while holding on the armlock. Ruby reaches the ropes to force Asuka to break the hold.
Riott comes back with a big kick before Asuka rams her shoulder-first into the turnbuckles. Asuka keeps control for some time and sends Riott to the floor with a Hip Attack. Asuka goes out and Riott launches her over the barricade. Asuka kicks Riott from the other side of the barrier. She dances on top of the barrier to taunt Riott as we go to commercial.
Riott tangles Asuka in the middle rope and kicks her continuously, forcing her to go to the floor. Riott brings her back and keeps her down in the ring. Asuka runs her over with a forearm. They go back and forth until Asuka blocks Riott kick and puts her in the ankle lock. Asuka hits a German suplex and Shining Wizard for close counts.
Riott blocks the Asuka Lock by sending Asuka into the turnbuckles and hits a running kick. Riott hits a running clothesline to the back. Riott lands hard when she goes for an elbow drop. Asuka gets angry but Riott drops her with a Flatliner. Riott goes right into a submission attempt. Asuka gets better of her and puts her in the Asuka Lock for the submission win.
Winner- Asuka(Qualifies For Women’s MITB Match)
Oney Lorcan vs Aleister Black
They start with trading holds until Lorcan takes Black down. Lorcan with more offense. Black hits some of his signature kicks and strikes and sends Lorcan out of the ring as we go to the break.
After the break, Black fights off a suplex but Lorcan still drops him. Black fights off a Full Nelson but Lorcan brings him down to the knee to apply a single-leg Crab. Black brings him down into an armbar. Lorcan escapes and lands some huge chop to the chest. Black kicks him back.
Black drops Lorcan with forearm shots, leg sweep and a knee strike. Lorcan avoids the moonsault and hits a clothesline. Black rolls out of suplex attempt for a two-count. Lorcan hits some more chops. Black lands a knee strike to his face and hits the Black Mass for the pin to win.
