Welcome to ITN’s Live Results & Updates Blog for WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 PPV on 8 March 2020.

WWE PPVs have become like a city transport bus. One goes by, another one follows soon. We just had Super ShowDown 10 days back and we now have Elimination Chamber PPV. The problem does not end there. I don’t remember a weaker card than this for any Elimination Chamber shows ever in the history. Or for that matter, on any show on the road to WrestleMania. Find the match card and quick results below and tell me if you feel the lineup is good enough for a PPV.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 Quick Results

WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 Kick-off Pre-Show Results & Updates

Catch the Kick-Off pre-show in the above video. Jonathan Coachman, Peter Rosenberg, Charly Caruso, and David Otunga start the pre-show. They chit-chat for a while before running through tonight’s card. Daniel Bryan vs Drew Gulak will be the first match on the main show.

The hype video for RAW Women’s Elimination Chamber match. Ruby Riott joins the panel and Charly asks about her former Riott Squad members. Riott says she taught them everything they know but she now plans on putting them in their place. winning the match, and going to WrestleMania. On bieng asked about Shayna Baszler, Ruby says she has been in arms reach within her WrestleMania moment and she keeps getting overlooked over others. Riott continues her promo, hyping herself up.

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Miz and John Morrison are now talking to the panel. They talk about retaining the title inside the Elimination Chamber. Miz says they elevate other talents and tag teams. Morrison brushes off that Elimination Chamber will affect him due to being nine years outside WWE.

AJ Styles vs Aleister Black is discussed now. The panel says Styles is distracted by the Undertaker. Aleister Black cuts a promo from backstage, saying nobody can save Styles tonight. Kayla Braxton is with Braun Strowman to talk about his title defense. He says he is ready for everyone. He calls Zayn a loudmouth clown and anyone who comes for his title will “get these hands.”

R-Truth joins the panel wearing John Cena’s shirt. He does some comedy mistaking tonight with Wrestlemania and then mistaking Peter Rosenberg with Sam Roberts. Discussing Brock Lesnar vs Drew McIntyre for WrestleMania, Truth says he believes Drew McIntyre is going to leave WrestleMania as champion, looking at with what he has done to Brock so far.

The Viking Raiders(Erik & Ivar) vs Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder

Erik overpowers Curt Hawkins in the initial exchange. Ryder gets distraction on Erik which helps Hawkins to hit a big knee. Ryder tags in and puts Erik in a chin lock. Erik gets up on his feet but is tossed out of the ring. Hawkins takes him down with a flying clothesline off the apron. Back in the ring, Hawkins keeps control for a while. Erik hits a forearm and drops Hawkins.

Ivar is tagged in and he runs down Ryder. He hits a flying crossbody and seated senton. He does his cartwheel and then hits a lariat on Hawkins. Erik lifts a charging Ryder up which leads to Ryder giving a rough Ryder to Hawkins. Erik hits a big knee on Hawkins, followed by the Viking Experience. The Viking Raiders gets the easy pin.

Main Show Live Results & Updates

Daniel Bryan vs Drew Gulak

Gulak starts with a Fireman’s carry takedown on Bryan. They reverse wristlocks. Gulak comes woth a shoulder tackle off the ropes. Bryan sits in the corner as Gulak taunts him. He takes Gulak in the headlock. Gulak rolls out but Bryan puts him in a half Boston crab. They both kick at each other’s face on the mat. Bryan goes out for a breather. Bryan tries to put Gulak in the surfboard stretch but Gulak puts him into the same move. Bryan gets out and kicks Gulak.

They trade chops and kicks in the corner. Gulak returns fire with a dragon screw leg whip. He then lands a short piledriver on Bryan, picks him up pulls Bryan’s neck back over his shoulder, spins him around, plants him to the ring, cover, two-count.

Gulak with big chops, shots to the midsection, looking for a suplex, Bryan lands a knee, then they do an end-over-end suplex with both men going down to the floor! Back in the ring, Gulak with a saito suplex, cover, two. Bryan selling his neck hurting. Full nelson applied by Gulak, reversed into a roll-up for two. Bryan with a full nelson into a dragon suplex with the bridge for two. Gulak with a release german suplex, cover, two. Bryan rolls out to the floor and lays there as the referee begins his ten-count.

He gets up and falls down at seven, leaps in at nine. Gulak is right there for a pin attempt, two. Bryan sent into the corner, he flips up and over, then hits a running clothesline. Multiple kicks in the corner on Gulak. He puts Gulak up top, Gulak slips under and crotches Bryan. Gulak goes up top and hits a reverses suplex into a dragon sleeper. Tries to lock it in deeper, Bryan rolls through for the yes-lock, throws punches to soften up Gulak. He then applies it in the middle of the ring, and the referee calls for the bell as Gulak passes out.

Andrade(w/ Zelina Vega) vs Humberto Carrillo – WWE United States Championship Match

Andrade lands a big back elbow right off the bat, cover, two-count. Andrade stomps away at his opponent in the corner. Lots of back and forth action, Andrade sent out to the floor, Carrillo follows, big chop, both back in the ring. Carrillo leaps off the top turnbuckle with a flying headbutt. Carrillo with a massive springboard arm drag that sends Andrade to the floor. Carrillo drags him back up to the apron, Andrade drapes Carrillo’s neck over the top rope. The champ follows with a single leg dropkick and then poses.

Andrade keeps the pressure on the challenge, works the arm, Carrillo with a kick to the face and an arm drag, but then eats a boot to the face. Carrillo tossed out to the floor, Andrade heads out and looks to pull up the protective padding. Carrillo runs in to stop that, Andrade jams Carrillo’s back into the ring post.

The referee starts his ten-count, Carrillo makes it back in at nine, but is immediately dropped by a kick from Andrade. More strikes by the champ, but he’s then dropped hard out to the floor. Andrade gets back in the ring, jawbreaker by Carrillo, spinning kick to the head, tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, springboard enziguri. He looks for a standing moonsault, but gets thrown back into the turnbuckle. Vega calling for “knees!”

Andrade gears up for the big strike, Carrillo is up, Andrade tries for the back elbow instead, misses. Kick by Carrillo, ends up on the apron, pops Carrillo and heads to the top rope. Carrillo with a kick to the head, goes up to the second rope and takes a big shot from Andrade. Both stand on the top rope and Carrillo lands a super hurricanrana, cover, 1-2-no. Carrillo tries for a top rope moonsault, lands on his feet, gets sent into the turnbuckle, Andrade lands the double knees in the corner, cover, two-count.

Vega is now ripping up the protective padding for Andrade. He sends Carrillo out to the floor, looks for the DDT, but gets back body dropped (on the padding). Carrillo then leaps over the referee with a flip down on Andrade. He tosses the champ in the ring, heads to the top rope, flying crossbody, cover, 1-2-no. Carrillo with a tricky pin, two, another one, two-count, Andrade reverses for a two-count. Carrillo tries yet again for a roll-up, Andrade reverses and holds the tights for the victory.

Winner- Andrad, retains United States Championship

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber Match

The Miz and John Morrison (c) vs The New Day vs The Usos vs Heavy Machinery vs Lucha House Party vs Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode

The New Day and The Usos start the match. Back and forth action in early that eventually leads to a stalemate on both teams. Clock ticks down and the first team is released. Lucha House Party enter the match.

Stereo kicks to The Usos, and then springboard attacks on both New Day members. Dorado with a springboard stunner on Jey. Metalik climbs on Dorado’s shoulders and then drops down, cover, two. New Day try to regain control of the match, getting everyone else down in the match. Dorado springboards over to the chamber wall and gets his feet tied up in the chains! He basically ended up in a tree of woe position.

Kofi and Metalik end up on the pod with him. Kofi falls down and his fingers get stomped on, sending him crashing to the outside. Dorado with a crossbody and Metalik hits a senton on New Day! Clock is ticking down. The Miz & John Morrison enter the match.

They go right after New Day at first. Then clear out Jimmy and Jey. Double double moves on Dorado, double kicks, standing moonsault by Morrison. Cover, Metalik is able to break it up. The champs have control of the match. Double stomp/neck breaker combo by Miz and Morrison in an attempt to eliminate The Usos.

Metalik heads up to the pod, Morrison follows, Metalik with kicks to the head. Metalik with a hurricanrana from the top of the pod! Cover, Miz breaks it up. Kofi Kingston gets going, taking down The Miz, boom drop lands. Powerbomb / double stomp combo on Miz, cover, Morrison breaks it up.

Heavy Machinery enter the match. They squash The Usos over and over against the chamber wall. Heavy Machinery collide with Big E in the ring. Big E stunned in the middle of the ring, gets squashed by the big guys. Otis hits the catapiller on Big E. They go for the cover, everyone fights in the ring and Dorado has climbed to the top of the chamber and does a moonsault from the top! “Holy s—” chant from the crowd. Heavy Machinvery is up and hits the compactor on Metalik for the pin. Lucha House Party is eliminated.

Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler enter the match. Everyone else is down, Ziggler and Roode yell for the other guys to get up. They hold the doors closed long enough for Miz and Morrison to help out. Both teams then go after Otis and Tucker. Heavy Machinery fight back. Ziggler tries to get away. Otis gets him for a moment, but Ziggler goes on the pod.

Tucker then climbs up the other way and meets Ziggler up there. He slams Ziggler’s head against the glass. He tosses Ziggler down to Otis and gets thrown down on the top rope. Tucker then hits a cannonball senton off the pod on the other competitors! Roode and Ziggler beat up Otis, they try to throw him against the wall, he blocks it and drops both guys.

Otis with a full head of steam at Ziggler, Ziggler moves and Otis goes through the pod glass on the outer part of the chamber and tumbles to the floor. Tucker can’t believe it, then focuses on Ziggler and Roode. He gets in the ring and throws bombs on each guy. Ziggler goes low, tries the fameasser, no, lands a superkick. Roode with a glorious DDT, Ziggler helps with the pin. Heavy Machinery is eliminated.

As Ziggler and Roode taunt Heavy Machinery, Kofi and Big E hit their finishers on each guy. The Usos each splash down on Roode and Ziggler. They cover Roode and Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler are eliminated.

The New Day and The Usos initially team up on the champion, then for whatever reason attack each other. Everyone in the ring is down now. Kofi climbs the top rope, Jey follows, but gets pancaked down to the mat. Kofi heads up to the pod and leaps off, but nobody is home. Miz and Morrison each jump on Kofi and get the pin! The New Day is eliminated.

The Usos are able to put the champs down. They each go for a splash, Miz gets his knees up, but Morrison takes the hit. Each team gets a pin attempt, but both end up kicking out. Double superkick missed by The Usos, Jey gets dropped, Miz goes right into a figure-four on Jimmy. Morrison with a low dropkick on Jey. Morrison heads to the second rope for starship pain while the figure-four is still locked in. Cover, broken up. Superkicks to both Miz and Morrison, pin attempt, two-count. Morrison and Miz get back up, both stack up Jey in a pinning attempt with Miz’s feet on the ropes and gets the pin.

Winners- The Miz & John Morrison, retains SmackDown Tag Team Championship

AJ Styles vs Aleister Black – No Disqualification Match

AJ Styles enter first with The OC. They enter the ring and wait for Aleister Black to enter. Styles starts with a headlock. Black tries to get out but Styles is holding on. Black throws him at the ropes but Styles does not rebound. Styles grabs Black’s leg but it does not come to anything as we get a stalemate. AJ grabs the leg again and takes down Black. Black gets out of a brief lock. He finally gets hits a big sidekick, the first big shot of the match.

Black corners Styles for more strikes. Styles sweeps his leg to take control. Styles is methodically working of Black knee and leg- working it on the ropes before putting on a knee lock. He brings out a kendo stick next to slam it to Black’s knee and back. Black hits a kick to his face to get a breather. Styles dropkicks him out of the ring. But as Styles jumps on him at the ringside, Black hits a big knee to Styles’ jaws.

Black sets up a table near the announce tables. Styles has a steel chair now and he hits it to Black’s mid-section before slamming it on the back. Back in the ring, Styles sets up the chair in between the turnbuckles. They trade strikes until Styles drops Black again. Black’s knee is giving up and he is not able to get up on his feet. He tries to fight back with a kick and a knee strikes. AJ rolls him up into the calf crusher and Black is in a lot of pain. Black gets the hold of kendo stick to break the lock.

Black gets some continuous strikes going on Styles with a kendo stick. Styles counters and hits the Pele kick. He looks for a powerbomb through the table but Black resists, only to eat a phenomenal forearm. Styles gets two-count. He hits the brainbuster for another two-count. Styles heads to the top, giving Black time to hit a knee strike. They trade punches before Black hits a kick, a running knee and a springboard moonsault for two-count.

Black hits a German suplex into the pin for a near fall. Black is frustrated for not getting the pin there. Styles hits Ushi-Garushi but could not hit the Styles clash next. The tussle ends up with Styles getting Black in the position for a Tombstone piledriver. Black counters it into a pin for two-count. He kicks Styles, sending him into the chair in between the turnbuckles. The fight moves to outside where Styles throws Black over the announce table. He goes for the suplex but Black kicks him down. A double knee from Black takes Styles through the table.

Back in the ring, Black was going for the Black mass when Gallows and Anderson get into the ring. Black hits some kicks on them but the OC trio ultimately overpowers him. Good Brothers hit the magic killer and hold Black for the Phenomenal Forearm. The lights go off and Undertaker’s gong hits. The Undertaker is in the ring as the lights come back. He hits double Chokeslams on Gallows and Anderson. Styles jumps on him with the Phenomenal Forearm but Undertaker hits the Chokeslam on him too. The lights go off again as the gong hits. Taker has disappeared. Black hits the Black on Styles and gets the pin.

Winner- Aleister Black

After the match, Black makes his way back gingerly, selling his leg. AJ gets back on his feet and goes back, clearly looking angry.

Street Profits(Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) vs Seth Rollins & Murphy – WWE RAW Tag Team Championship Match

The Street Profits enter first and head into the crowd to interact with the crowd. They get into the ring and wait for their opponents. Seth Rollins enters with Murphy and Authors of Pain. He directs his sub-ordinates to check under and around the ring for Kevin Owens. The match starts with Rollins and Dawkins. Rollins tries to overpower Dawkins but to no avail. Murphy is tagged in after a couple of failed attempts from Rollins.

Dawkins twists Murphy’s arm. Murphy runs at him with a shoulder tackle but Dawkins is unmoved. Dawkins runs him down with a clothesline before tagging in Ford. They make quick tags for double team moves in the corner. Dawkins does some arm twists and tags in Ford again. Murphy turns it around with a forearm and tags in Rollins. Rollins takes him into the corner for some strikes. Ford leaps out of the corner. They run the ropes in a sequence which ends with Rollins taking down Ford.

Murphy is tagged in but Ford hits a big armdrag on him. Ford and Dawkins double team Murphy for a dropkick and a double back body drop. Rollins comes in to save but gets slammed. Murphy moves out of the ring. Dawkins goes after him and this gives an opportunity for Rollins to tag in. Rollins hits a chop block on Dawkins. Murphy tags in and Dawkins overpower him to tag in Ford.

Ford jumps on Murphy and a quick sequence follows. A crossbody, moonsault and more moves on Murphy. Ford hits a DDT before flip over the top rope. Rollins distracts the referee and AOP slams Ford into the barricade. The Viking Raiders come out to brawl with AOP. Rollins gets rolled-up by Ford for a two-count. Rollins then puts Ford in a chinlock. Ford tries to tag in Dawkins but Rollins hits falcon arrow for two-count. Murphy is tagged in and puts Ford in a shoulder stretch. Ford fights back but Murphy prevents the tag.

Dawkins hits clotheslines and drop kicks on Murphy and Rollins. A corner splash and a bulldog on Rollins. Double team from Profits was not enough for the pin though. Rollins hits the slingblade on Dawkins and tags in Murphy. They double team Dawkins and hits double kicks on him. Ford jumps on them to eat double super kicks. Dawkins sends Murphy into the barricade. Rollins takes the tag but Dawkins also tag in Ford. Rollins hits a DDT on Ford and then they hit the Buckle Bomb/Enziguiri combo.

Rollins with a suicide dive on Dawkins, caught in midair, fallaway slam. Murphy kicks Ford in the face, climbs to the top, Ford with a punch to the face and heads up to the second rope. Dawkins tags in, they go up together and look for a double superplex, but Rollins sneaks in and it’s a tower of doom.

Through the crowd comes Kevin Owens, eating some popcorn. Owens tosses some popcorn at Rollins, Dawkins absolutely runs over Rollins as his attention is on Rollins. Murphy is then sent into the barricade. Back in the ring, powerbomb by Dawkins on Murphy. Ford with the big frog splash, cover, 1-2-3.

Winners- The Street Profits, retain the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship

Braun Strowman vs Cesaro & Sami Zayn & The Shinsuke Nakamura – WWE Intercontinental Championship

Sami Zayn starts the match against Strowman, but tags in Nakamura immediately. Nakamura and Strowman go at it. Strowman no-sells a few moves by Nakamura before a headbutt. He slams Nakamura into the turnbuckle before whipping him into another. A corner splash follows. Strowman goes after Zayn and Nakamura gets to hit him from the back. A kick from Nakamura and Cesaro is tagged in.

Cesaro hits an uppercut and a few punches before a tag to Sami Zayn. Sami gets some kicks and punches going in the corner. As Strowman looks to get up, he tags in Nakamura. Nakamura runs at Strowman to bring him down again. Sami gets in again for some punches and tags out immediately as Strowman was looking like getting up. Cesaro comes in now to hit the running kick. Sami in again for more strikes. Strowman stares at Sami, forcing Nakamura gets him in a sleeper hold but Strowman gets to his feet.

Cesaro tagged in, Strowman is mad and launches Cesaro all over the ring. Boot to the face of Strowman, Nakamura tags in, but takes a clubbing blow to the chest. Strowman then hits the running truck(tackles) on Nakamura and Cesaro. But Sami runs under the ring. Strowman goes to bring him back but that gives Nakamura and Cesaro the opportunity to work over him.

All three of them send Strowman into the ring steps. Knee to the back of the neck by Nakamura. Cesaro looks for the gotch piledriver, no luck. Zayn helps Cesaro, runs away. Strowman charges at Cesaro but he misses and runs into the ring post. Nakamura with a kinshasa, sending Braun’s head into the ring post. Double suplex/helluva kick from the trio and Zayn covers Strowman to win the title.

Winner- Sami Zayn, Nakamura and Cesaro. Sami Zayn wins the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Natalya vs Shayna Baszler vs Asuka vs Liv Morgan vs Ruby Riott vs Sarah Logan – Elimination Chamber Match for #1 Contender Match for WWE RAW Women’s Championship

Ruby and Natalya start the match. Ruby hits a kick in the gut and gets a sunset flip for two-count. She hits some blows in the corner before Natalya hits a rope-assisted side suplex. Natalya slams her into the steel walls and then hits a snap suplex in the side padding. Natalya with a sharpshooter now, right in front of Liv Morgan. As Morgan taunts Ruby, she manages to slam Natalya into the chamber pod.

Ruby goes to work on Natalya now. She slams Natalya on the padding before ramming her face in the steel chains. Natalya gets her in the electric chair and manages to slam her into the chains. Sarah Logan enters the match and runs Natalya into Liv Morgan’s pod. Ruby climbs up to avoid Logan and reaches on top of Morgan’s pod. Logan follows and they tussle at the top of pod. Logan throws Ruby down with a powerbomb and then hits a dive on Ruby and Natalya. They do a tower of doom.

Shayna Baszler enters the match. She sends Natalya into the ringpost. Logan is slammed to the floor and then eats a knee strike from Baszler. Baszler puts her in the kirifuda clutch. Logan gives up immediately. The same sequence repeats with Ruby Riott and she is also eliminated.
Baszler turns her attention towards Natalya. She slams her on the padding, before taking her into one of the open pods. Baszler uses the gate of the pod to harm Natalya. She puts her in the kirifuda clutch and Natalya also taps out after some struggle.

Baszler is now roaming around in the ring as she waits for next participant to come in. Asuka starts taunting her from inside the pod. Morgan also gets in the act while Baszler continues to roam around. Liv Morgan enters the match. Baszler meets her at the pod gate and rains her down with strikes. She slams Morgan into the pod and steel walls. Baszler waits for Morgan to enter the ring and runs her down with clotheslines. A running knee strike in the corner now.

Asuka is shouting at her from inside the pod as Baszler continues to work on Morgan. She sits at the top of the turnbuckle and puts Morgan in the kirifuda clutch. This looks brutal. Morgan tries to hand on but passes out in a few seconds. The referee calls it and Morgan is eliminated. Baszler is again roaming in the ring as she waits for Asuka to enter the match. Becky Lynch is watching the match from backstage. Asuka and Baszler shout at each other while Asuka is still inside the Chamber.

Asuka enter the match and they stand in the middle of the ring now. Asuka hits her with a hip attack and then a few kicks. She goes for the shining wizard but is caught with a strike. Asuka rolls her up for the lock but Baszler also rolls through it. Asuka successfully puts her in the Asuka lock but Baszler rolls out of the ring and towards the chamber wall. Baszler slams Asuka into the steel wall a few times.

Asuka comes back into the ring now. Baszler now works on Asuka’s injured wrist. Baszler puts her in the kirifuda clutch, but Asuka rolls out of it after a while. Baszler then twists Asuka’s bad wrist, lifts her and slams to the mat. A big kick to the knee is followed by another kirifuda clutch. Asuka slowly fades out and that referee calls for the bell.

Winner- Shayna Baszler, becomes #1 contender for WWE RAW Women’s Championship
