SmackDown’s Loaded Lineup Announced For 21 February 2020 Episode
WWE has announced a loaded line-up for SmackDown’s go-home episode for WWE Super ShowDown 2020 next week with Goldberg, Lacey Evans’ interview and a #1 contender’s match.
WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg will challenge The Fiend Bray Wyatt for the WWE Universal Championship at Super ShowDown 2020. So, organically, he will appear at SmackDown to hype that match. Another WWE Hall of Famer, Hulk Hogan, backed Goldberg to defeat The Fiend at Super ShowDown.
Lacey Evans has been absent from WWE TV ever since her loss to Bayley at Royal Rumble 2020. This week, WWE aired a vignette to dig deep into her babyface run. They also announced that Renee Young will be interviewing Evans, which will air next week on SmackDown.
Bayley successfully defended her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against Carmella this week, using some underhand tactics. After the match, Bayley was taken down by Naomi and Carmella when she continued her attack on Carmella.
Later, a frustrated Bayley announced that she is ready to defend her title once again at WWE Super ShowDown 2020. After promos from both Carmella and Naomi, WWE announced the #1 contender match between them, with the winner facing Bayley in the first-ever Women’s Championship match in Saudi Arabia.
