Keith Lee comes out to open the show. He cuts a promo about him having the best of 2019 and the Undisputed ERA’s time getting up. The UE comes out and NXT Champion Adam Cole cuts a promo ridiculing Lee. They attack Lee and Strong ends up hitting jumping on his knee with the steel chair wrapped around it. Tommaso Ciampa comes out to prevent any further damage.
Tegan Nox returned to NXT for the first time since Dakota Kai turned on her. She gives a byte before having a hug with Candice LeRae. She will be in the Battle Royal later today. Other Battle Royal participants are also seen warming up.
Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne defeated Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews in the first round of Dusty Rhodes Classics tag team tournament. Good match even though Dunne and Riddle were tagging for the first time on TV. The finish came after Riddle took down Webster with a piledriver on the outside and then they did a double team Bro 2 Sleep on Andrews to get the win.
Cathy Kelley updates that Keith Lee is rushed to the hospital and this puts his match against Roderick Strong in jeopardy next week.
Tommaso Ciampa comes out to cut a promo. He says Undisputed ERA has a hit list but he also has a hit list that includes NXT Champion Adam Cole. The UE attacks Ciampa but Johnny Gargano makes the save.
Grizzled Young Veterans defeated KUSHIDA & Alex Shelley in the first round match of Dusty Rhodes Tag Team classics. After a back and forth match, GYV hit the double team codebreaker on Shelley to get the pin. GYV also cut a promo after the match, telling the crowd that they will win the Dusty Rhodes Classic.
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott defeated Lio Rush and Tyler Breeze to become the new #1 contender for WWE NXT Cruiserweight Championship. Scott got the pin on Breeze with a JML Driver. He will join Angel Garza for the fatal 4-way match at WWE Worlds Collide.
Rhea Ripley is interviewed backstage by Cathy Kelley and she is not worried about facing Toni Storm at Worlds Collide and the new #1 contender later.
Cathy is with Johnny Gargano next. Tommaso Ciampa also joins them and thanks Gargano to help him. They also confirm DIY vs Moustache Mountain for Worlds Collide. The Undisputed ERA try to attack them again but get stopped by the security. Keith Lee starts throwing people around as the segment comes to end.
Bianca Beliar won the 13 Women Battle Royal to become the new #1 contender for NXT Women’s Championship. She will face Rhea Ripley at NXT TakeOver: Portland.
