Triple H Confirms NXT TakeOver Portland Location, Tickets

WWE Executive Vice President Triple H took to Twitter yesterday to confirmed the location and ticket sale for NXT Takeover: Portland 2020 event.

The first NXT Takeover event for the year 2020 was announced to take place in Portland, Oregan on Sunday, 16 February 2020. Triple H took to Twitter to confirm the location as the Moda Center in Portland.

Hunter also announced that the tickets for the event will go on sale this Friday at 10 AM PT. You can see Triple H’s full tweet with the Takeover promo below:

The tickets for AEW’s next PPV, AEW Revolution, will also go on sale this Friday. AEW Revolution will take place at Wintrust Arena in Chicago on 29 February 2020. The tickets for two more AEW shows in February will also go on sale this Friday.

This will be the first time that the NXT TakeOver event will be taking place on Sunday. NXT UK’s next TakeOver event is also set for a Sunday at The Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, England on 12 January.

This will also be the first time in 3 years that the NXT TakeOver event will not accompany WWE Royal Rumble PPV. Instead of a TakeOver show, WWE is hosting a Worlds Collide special on the Saturday of Royal Rumble weekend. The NXT vs NXT UK Worlds Collide will be taking place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on 25 January.
