New World Order Announced For WWE Hall of Fame 2020

NWO- New World Order has been announced to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020, as per a report from ESPN.

WWE has started announcing the WWE Hall of Fame inductees for the next year as ESPN’s Marc Raimondi that the New World Order will be the first official group to be inducted. The core group of Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman will all go into the Hall of Fame.

This will be the second Hall of Fame Induction for all four men. Hulk Hogan in 2005, Scott Hall in 2014, Kevin Nash in 2015 and Sean Waltman in 2019(with De-Generation X) have been inducted to Hall of Fame earlier.

The stable came into effect when Hulk Hogan joined the Outsiders(Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) against WCW at Bash at the Beach 1996 PPV show. The moment is considered iconic in the pro-wrestling history and is considered pivotal in helping WCW to beat WWWE during the Monday Night Wars TV ratings for the next few years.

“You’ve got four guys that were basically going at Vince as a shoot, pushing hard to actually try to take over. Not put him out of business but basically take his spot and be the No. 1 company,” Hogan was quoted by ESPN. “All of a sudden, you’re inducting four guys in the Hall of Fame that 20 years ago were trying to stab you in the back. It’s like Vince says: In the WWE, never say never.”

“The nWo was kind of the epicenter of that Attitude Era,” Kevin Nash said describing how NWO changed the course of Monday Night Wars. “It was the first thing. It shifted Vince’s way of thinking. We built the Saturn rocket, we put it on the launchpad, and Vince came and kicked us off. Before we got in the capsule, he said, ‘I’ll take this from here.’ He took the Attitude Era, and he took it another step further.”

WWE Hall of Fame 2020 Induction ceremony takes place on 2 April 2020 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, as part of WrestleMania 36 weekend. Tickets for the event will go on sale on Friday, 13 December 2019. Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dave Batista is also announced to be inducted in the Hall of Fame with the Class of 2020.
