Chris Jericho to Make A Huge Announcement

AEW World Champion Chris Jericho suffered his first loss under AEW’s banner last week when he was pinned by Scorpio Sky. Maybe, Jericho got a little too ambitious when he went for the AEW World Tag Team Championship against SoCal Uncensored. Now, Jericho is advertised to make a big announcement. Is it related to his loss to Scorpio Sky? He is certainly up for a title show now since he has pinned the champion now.

A Battle Royal is announced out of the blue by AEW for this week’s Dynamite episode. And there will not be one winner from this match. But the final two remaining members will then fight at Dynamite episode from Sears Center for AEW Diamond Ring. What power does that ring hold? No idea yet. But it may be something like the Money in the Bank briefcase in WWE.

Jon Moxley vs Darby Allin

After coming on top against Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear, Jon Moxley threw an open challenge to the AEW roster. The challenged is answered by Darby Allin and they will fight it out this week on Dynamite. Both men hold a certain affinity to hardcore wrestling. But while Moxley is more about striking, Allin depends more on his speed and agility. Both men are currently in top 5 in AEW Rankings but Darby Allin remains a risk to slip out of the rankings if he loses.

Private Party vs Proud N’ Powerful

Speaking of the rankings, Private Party slipped out of the top 5 when they lost in the triple threat tag team title match at AEW Full Gear. Proud and Powerful, on the other hand, has remained undefeated in their three matches till now and are nearing the top of the ranking. The match between them is set up after the Private Party tried to save the Young Bucks from Proud N’ Powerful.

Nick Jackson vs Rey Fenix

7 June 2015 was the last time Nick Jackson was in a singles match, as per Cagematch.net. That is 4 years and 5 months ago. So, Nick is returning to singles action. But why? Because Matt is injured(Kayfabe). And his opponent is going to be none other than Rey Fenix, one of his recent rivals in the tag team division. For Fenix also, this is going to be the first singles match in AEW. But he has been a regular in singles action outside of the company. His most recent singles match was against Kenny Omega where he lost the AAA Mega Championship.

Britt Baker vs Hikaru Shida

The number 1 and 2 in the latest Women’s Rankings, Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida will face off at AEW Dynamite this week. The ranking will likely change depending on the result of this match. So, both women will not want to lose here and miss an opportunity for a title shot.
