The host of WWE Starrcade 2019 is advertising matches for the event, which could give us a sneak-peek into WWE’s Future rivalries and booking plans.
WWE is making Starrcade a yearly event with this year’s show being the third event in a row. WWE Starrcade 2019 will be taking place on 1 December 2019 at Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Georgia. This comes just one week after WWE Survivor Series and two weeks before WWE TLC 2019.

- Asuka and Kairi Sane(c) vs Charlotte Flair & RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch – Texas Tornado Match, WWE Women’s Championship
- AJ Styles(c) vs Kevin Owens – WWE United States Championship Match
- The New Day(c) vs The Revival – WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
- Braun Strowman vs Sami Zayn and WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura – 1-on-2 Handicapped Match

Now, some of the matches are normal affairs like the New Day vs the Revival for SmackDown Tag Team titles, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair taking on the Kabuki Warriors. But the interesting piece is Kevin Owens taking on AJ Styles for the WWE United States Championship and The Miz vs Bray Wyatt in the Steel Cage match. It would be wrong to read too much into the “advertised” match card for an event that is still 3 weeks away. But it will also be wrong to completely ignore it.
